How to apply

For undergraduate courses, you will need to apply through UCAS. Our institution name is LBRO and our institution code is L79. The course code will depend on the degree that you are applying for.

For master’s and PhD programmes, our online application portal is an easy way to manage your application. Once you have registered, you will be able to save, review and track your application’s progress.

The form consists of 11 sections and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. You’ll need to provide your personal details, such as name and address, your nationality and how you plan to fund your studies. It is important that you use your full name in your application, as it appears in your passport or birth certificate.

Entry requirements are different depending on the course and these can be found on the individual course listings. The University has standard English Language requirements for all applicants and certain programmes may have additional requirements so please read any details carefully.

Application Deadlines

For undergraduate courses, you can apply from 1 September in the year before you wish to start your studies. Late applications can only be considered if places are still available on the course you are interested in.

For postgraduate taught courses, the date is much more flexible, and you can apply until 6 September in the year you wish to begin your studies. However, as some courses are very popular and places may be limited, we recommend you apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment. For postgraduate research, there are opportunities throughout the year to apply.

All of our master’s degrees offer a number of scholarships and a bursary from 20% to 100% off tuition fees.

We offer more than 100 fully funded and some part-funded PhDs throughout the year for students.

Successful applicants will be advised if they are being awarded a scholarship soon after they have received their offer communication from the University’s Admissions Office. Certain funding options may have additional requirements or deadlines, so please read eligibility details carefully.
